Scheme language standardization process
This is a Formal Response to Formal Comment #436: Generalization of append, map, and for-each to other sequences The WG voted to adopt vector-append and bytevector-append, but bytevector-map and bytevector-for-each were postponed to the large language, which may provide different versions for u8, s8, u16, etc. views of the bytevector. If you are dissatisfied with this Formal Response, please let us know.
